10 forum posts 5 photos | Hi , I have been lurking for years and am finally introducing myself. I am a mature graduate electronic engineer living in Ireland, that has drifted into model engineering. I was a house painter for 20 years but a work accident 10 years ago led to 5 years of rehab and 5 more of college ,resulting in a career change and a lifestyle change. I used to fly model aircraft and fly-fish. Now when not working, I potter around my shed and play with my machines or build electronic projects. I have spent the last 4 years preparing my shed for a model engineering project , but I got a little sidetracked by the machines themselves and lost my way looking at tools. I have hopefully become a little more focused this year and now I plan to build a Gauge1 project Loco this winter(as long as I don,t see another nice looking lathe). Regards Mark |
