Hello everyone,

I've come to this forum in search of a bit of assistance. I'm looking for 25mmx25mm pressed steel channel section but am having no luck in finding any locally. (The nearest I've found is in Devon and postage is expensive).

I wondered why is it so hard to find? Is there a more common substitute I should be looking for?

Thanks in advance for any help! Great forum by the way!

Depends on what it is for, and how long the lengths you need. For short bits I would bend it from sheet, longer lengths consider cutting the top of box section. Just quick thoughts.

Try one of the larger B&Q warehouses. They do a range of steel sections, ropunds, flats, angles, folded sections

Thanks for your advice, I shall look for a bigger B&Q.

Depending on where you are I have plenty of 25x25 box with around a 2 mm wall section.
