Help needed deciding what to get

2 forum posts 5 photos | Hi all, I have tried searching, ended up more confused. I have decided to upgrade my Boxford lathes to VFD to have more control over surface speed as well as all the other benefits that come with it. Trouble I am having is the number of different brands of inverter available. What do people recommend? Any I should avoid? Same story with the motor. I am after a 80 frame size foot mount in 1hp. Recommendations on this? UK supplier with best prices and customer support? Thanks in advance Dan |

![]() 1766 forum posts 46 photos | Hi Dan, I am running a TEC 3-phase motor with a Transwave inverter. It is almost 3 years old and has been working well. If I had the funds I would upgrade my small lathe to 3-phase/inverter drive. Thor |

91 forum posts 6 photos | Went with Transwave for my Myford Tr-Leva VFD upgrade and also with Transwave for a rotary 3 phase converter for my Hardinge, and in both cases the company was a pleasure to deal with. No other link apart from being a very satisfied customer. |
