i am looking for a lump of mild steel measuring 8 3/8" x 10 1/8" x 2 7/8"
reasonable price considered. offcut ok

i have for disposal a fine piece of round section steel. not sure of it's composition but it submits to filing ok.
a photograph is attached.

the outer diameter is 10 3/4" and the stepped down diameter is 9 1/2". overall height of piece when laid flat on't floor is just over 3 5/16". depth of reduced diameter is approx 15/16"

I really want to swap or come to some sort of arrangement if purchase is necessary and could possibly meet up for exchange or whatever

Sorry, I should have mentioned I live in Cardiff area. I have also tried to upload about 6 photos but it keeps dropping four of them out. I haven't quite got the hang of this thing yet and the print in this box is so small I can hardly see it?

Many thanks. How do I edit the posting?

.

Geoff,

Members only get a short period in which we can edit our posts [after which, the option disappears from the menu].

If there is an important change that you need to be made, you can ask a Moderator to do it.

That means your image is huge or the overall upload size is to large. Try uploading one at a time, they will be cropped to 1024 pixels in the largest dimension anyway (keeps page load speeds sensible for people viewing on slow connections).
