1395 forum posts 30 photos | reminds me of a family outing on I think Boxing day 1965 to a relative who lived very near the sheds at Warrington (1st main town N of Crewe on West Coast line) - passing over the bridge which overlooked the shed it + the yard was jampacked with Coronation Scots (Duchesses!) and other mainline locos - probably well over 50 there - guess on their way for scrap.
