17 forum posts 27 photos | Hi, Can anyone suggest where I could have an original worn leadscrew thread refurbished or remade. My lathe machine is to small to accept the length and bore through spindle to remake a new one. Currently the worst of the backlash is central and being around 60" to 70" thou.is far to much play. The half nut appears to be ok. I would welcome any suggestions thank you. John |
