Hi Martin,

Could it be a tool for sharpening a tool that cuts hole in cork or rubber stoppers (cork borer sharpener)?

Hi All,

Here are a couple of mystery items from this weeks haul at Shepton Mallet Flea Market, really good day out with lots of nice finds, some not so cheap but great quality stuff.

My wife found this in her haul, very sharp edges to the inside of the 'tines'; about 53mm width on the business end.

This one is obviously a part of something else but well made, the end cap unscrews and could be for storage of small parts? Nice logo and number 12?

The small steel part is threaded with twin flats. 18kmm diameter to the main brass 'handle'. 100mmlong overall?

Any thoughts please?

Cheers, Martin

It's a 'hair thinning comb' you can still buy them.

Neil, For humans? Good grief, it would plough furrows in your scalp!

Martin C, Butter? I have a couple of butter curling tools, they are MUCH smaller and would not need razor sharp tines.

That comb looks like it is for horses.
