I have sent him a message on Madmodder linking him to this thread. I think you need to have a certain number of forum posts before messages can be sent which is likely why you have not been able to

I'm sure I've seen his email address posted on the end of a couple of his "Sunday Night Night Cap" videos. He seems to get a lot of goodies sent to him via his work address, too - clearly visible in some videos when he opens the packets, so he obviously doesn't mind.

Hi All, John mentions in a lot of his videos a supplier of Silver steel any idea who that is please.

You could just ask in the comments under one of his videos.
