Hi there, we are looking for Austin 7 owners who live in France. We have trawled the usual sites and I wondered if anyone on this site a) live in France and b) have an Austin 7. If you fit the bill, please PM me.

Thanks Bob Humphrey.

Nice car Bob. What is it, early 1930s?

I had a 1929 2-seater sports special but had to sell it (along with my other vintage cars) before moving to France to boost the retirement fundcrying

Russell.

October 1932, Model RN Delux Saloon. It was the first 'long wheelbase' model but retained many of the short W.B. items such as the gravity fuel tank just above the cylinder head, 3 speed box, vacuum windscreen wiper. Just after October, the fuel tank went to the rear necessitating a fuel pump and the Model was marketed as the RP with a 'double' top gear - Ie, 4 speed gear box.

Just a bump as my friend is organising an alternative centenary of the Austin 7 here in SW France and we are looking for Austin 7 owners down this way.

Anyone out there ?? PM me if you prefer.

Bob
