My Hermes delivery on Sunday was made by an oldish chap driving a small white van with no livery.

Insurance is available for Mobility Scooters - but I found that mine is covered on my household insurance.

I arranged for flowers from M&S to be delivered to a friend she didn't receive them Hermes contacted M&S and they immediately sent out a replacement M&S later contacted me saying Hermes had provided them with a photo of the flowers outside a porch and had been left there due to no one in whilst you can debate as to leaving them out in the open the photo showed clearly it was the wrong house number !

The big vehicles that move between the depots have Hermes livery

Local delivery agents are, I believe ‘self-employed contractors’ and provide their own vehicle.

... No idea what checks are done.

Ebay ran a promotion for a couple of months. I was sending stuff with Hermes for £1.45, same parcel would have been over £4 with Royal Mail.

Not had a single problem.
