.

.... [Mine is the original iPad, which has no built-in camera; I have hundreds of photos on it, but cannot transfer any of them to the Forum]

Michael, might be a stupid question as I know nothing about these i-things, but I ask myself when you have hundreds of photos on it, HOW did you get them there? I would think that you can get them off the same way. What are photos good for if you cannot transfer them to another device?

Hi Bob,
Android is just another operating system like Windows, Linux and iOS (iPad operating system.) The picture was taken at the National Railway Museum in York. It was a nice day out.

Hi Wolfie,
I used the same method on my Nexus 7 as I use on a PC. It was much more difficult as the screen behaves strangely with the box to select the album and file to inset into the message. The box could not be made larger and part of it disappears if an attempt is made to enlarge the whole screen. I also had several attempts to upload the picture before it worked. I did nothing different when it did work. I was using the Firefox browser and when selecting the file to upload it used "ES File Explorer" to select the file. I have not tried using any other browser.

Hi Wolfie,
I tried to using the Chrome browser on the Nexus 7 to insert a picture into a message. It would not select the file to insert. I did not try uploading a picture to an album. Will you be at Harrogate this year ? I will probably be there on the Friday.

Yes I'm using Firefox as well on the Nexus 7. I'm relegated to reading only when I'm out on the road as it doesn't get on well with this forum at all. No problems with any others, just this one. It took me about an hour to approve half a dozen posts the other day grr

Yes I'm expecting to be at Harrogate on the Pickering stand, but probably only at the weekend.
