Looking for advice for a machine upgrade.

![]() 7468 forum posts 230 photos | Had a wee look on the web to see what the story is in the US. Save your dollars and buy an older Southbend, and a Bridgeport Knee mill. Another one said, theres no high quality table top lathe- theres useless junk, and it gets worse from there, regardless of country of origin. The argument was whether to buy Chinese or US built machines.There appears to be some rather nice american lathes at quite reasonable price, $2500-$4000. Ian S C |
