Brian - I think the thread that you're struggling with is actually 1/8in BSP - the usual figure given for the od is 0.383 in. x 28 tpi. It's a fairly common thread, even my cheapo tap and die set included it.

Yes 1/8" BSP is the one and also 55deg thread form not the 60deg of UNF that you mixed up the other day. So no "dirty tricks" again by Myford just not knowing your threadswink 2

A quick look at the Myford site will see that they sell their oilers with 1/8" BSP threads

Where did you actually buy the oilers from in the end, Brian. (Other than "from China" )

Edit: ought to know about the smiley by now).

I think the policy here is not to link to foreign sellers not uk based so I can only suggest a search on EB

If you look at the (current) terms and conditions I don't see anything to prevent the posting of such links. (There was some rather self-serving, advertiser-driven censorship imposed a while back - particularly about youtube links - but that seems to have gone from the T & C).

In any event, I think I found what I need from your description .... thanks!

Brian has it right, try looking at Code of Conduct rather than T&Cs

.... which doesn't say at all what Brian said. Simply that if one does post such links they may be subject to arbitrary censorship.

I knew this would cause trouble. I wont make the mistake of posting Ebay links again. You are damned if you do and damned if you dont.. Do I need that grief

Ebay is a minefield - caveat emptor
