I have two 6" square surface plates and one that was once a large table ,Which I have half 2ft * 1ft and is 2" ribbed thick.I don' know what saw was used but it must have been substantional.i use it when setting up ic engines frabricated in sections and it's other uses are invaluable I wouldn't be without one.
