Ian - that's interesting about the Tri-Leva with a two speed motor. I've met two speed three phase motors on cranes for example, but I didn't know you could do the same with a single phase motor. My mind is slightly boggled with how the starter winding gets in there somehow. Rgds Simon My Tri Lever ML7 has the two speed 1ph motor, it runs at both speeds in forward and reverse. The motor winding wires (about 11 I think) are all taken directly out to the rotary switch and 1 cap (plus one on motor body) via flexible cables.

893 forum posts | Out of general interest and for possible future reference has either Ian or any other reader/owner of a Myford Tri-lever got a good clear wiring diagram of the Tri Lever switch and circuit diagram of the motor wiring which they would like to send me ? John |

91 forum posts 6 photos | Hi John, I have a Tri-Leva with a two speed single phase motor and the original cabinet has the separate forward /revers switch as well as a separate high and low speed switch. If you forward me your email address then I can forward you the wiring diagrams of the switches as well as the circuit diagrams of the motor wiring. Mike |
