Thread: yet another angle plate |

here's some more views, I've found this fixture plate far more useful than the slots, which never seem to match up with anything you need to clamp to it.

Fabio, whatever angle plate you buy, consider fitting a fixture plate with threaded holes like this, It makes it far more usable,

Thread: BAMFORD TULIP TOP ENGINE |

I have just aquired a set of castings to build the "Bamford tulip top engine", almost identical to the engine that Ronnie Bickerton built a few years ago, Is Ronnie still about ? Unfortunately I have no drawings , so any dimentions would be very helpful, like bore and stroke, cam gear dimentions etc, all I know is the flywheels are 8" diameter, Any help would be well received, Thanks, Richard. |
Thread: Adjustable angle plate |

Here are some pictures of an adjustable angle plate I recently made from castings, 7" x 5", increased to 8" x 6" using a threaded fixture plate 5/16 UNC threads, To be used on a Tom Senior mill, Castings were mainly machined on the Edjwick shaper. |

Does anyone know the correct v-belt size as used in the "S" type Turret head , fitted to the Tom Senior M1 mill, It's an "M" or "Z" section belt, but I'm not sure of the proper length. Thanks,
Richard. |
Thread: Adjustable angle plate |

I like the idea of using two 90degree angle plates bolted together, this would give probably an unlimited combination of angles, also would be more rigid and not inclined to move during machining operations. |

Does anyone know of a supplier of a good quality (not imported) adjustable angle plate, about 6" x 4" ish, for use on a Tom Senior mill, All I can seem to find are imported ones of varying quality,

I built one years ago, I don’t recall any particular issues, I can post some pictures of it if you want.
Hello Alain, It would be nice to see some pictures of the rotary table you made, Richard.
