Thread: Can someone in teh uk buy these for me from amazon
08/10/2022 17:06:48

They have a rounded end to make them safer for use..use for box cutting

i had also been through all the ringing and emailing amazon as to why I couldn’t have them

they seem to have no idea …just suggesting i put in a different addresss to have them sent to..

maybe my area has a higher than average record for knife crime.

But i have seen the same messages on other items I’ve wanted…so really wanted to get to the bottom of why..

amazon went through age verification with me …but if i bought standard Stanley blades no restriction

amazon said maybe i wasn’t on the mainland..without specifying which ML

I just find it surprising that if an item is visible on the .uk.co site you cant buy it..

Thread: Power Cut Proofing
07/10/2022 18:03:40

I have recently acquired a large UPS system..its big on wheels and has 8 large lorry sized battery’s inside and control gear and a inverter..its a 3kw system

its perhaps 700mm square and 900 mm tall

i know nothing much about it but you can have it cheap..

its a AEC S1030 (power station)

looks as it could be good for anyone who has a solar system too?

I want to buy some of these blades…

Milwaukee 48-22-1934Trapezoidal Blade Rounded Pack of 5 , Red

Amazon have 4 packs available but for some reason when i get to checkout the page goes red and says this order cant be sent to you at your address.

I’ve spoken to amazon about it and they say they don’t know why.

so can anyone buy these for me and send them on to me…i will of course cover all costs..

22/08/2022 15:42:16

I’m still confused

the list of channels that Simon linked to suggests that channels 8 and 11 use frequency’s well outside the stated frequency of my unit 568-579mhz and 580-591

22/08/2022 14:08:54

What does all this mean?
