Thread: thead cutting |

I just had a quick question, I need to make some 6 ba screws and I was wondering if there was any tips on how to make the thread reach the head of the screw. Is there such a thing as a die without a taper? or do the threads have to be cut in a lathe?
Thanks guys

I was just wondering what the rules and regs are regarding ME articles particularly the older one. I was having a browse through some old 60's magazines, and i found quite a few of the articles and plans can still of use today, however the problem is getting hold of them (apart from ebay or ME groups), is it possible to put any of these old articles on the website? |

I just wanted to let eveyone know, a few people on another forum including myself have not recieved MEW issue 151, I fired off an email to myhobbystore.com through their website and they have sent me off another copy. Just thought it might be of help if anyone else is having this problem!

Thread: Ayesha 2 1/2" articles |
19/05/2009 19:19:31 |
Evening all,
Im thinking about building the 2 1/2" Ayesha 2 as described in ME back in 2007, however im having trouble tracking down the articles describing the build. Does anyone know where I can get these from, I have looked at myhobbystore.com, however i dont really fancy paying £2.75 per issue just for one article in each magazine. I have managed to track down a copy of LSBC's original plans but there are some differences in Aysesha 2, making them unuseful.
