Thread: Website is deformed on login page |
06/12/2015 12:17:42 |
I also have FF42 and do not have the problem. Are you running an ad blocker or something? What it looks like, is that the my friends, email news and latest forum posts modules are missing. The adverts then pop up at the top. |
Thread: MEW renewal problems |
02/12/2015 22:25:36 |
I would suggest that MTM really sort this out. Many will not bother contacting this forum as the OP has done. They will simply not subscribe again. Kudos to the OP for persisting though. Not sure I will, if I get the same treatment when that time arrives. |

Thread: What direction should this forum be taking? |
13/11/2015 14:04:26 |
A big help would be able to customise the latest forum posts to only see what you want to see. The structure of the forums topics is way to large to be easy to steer around. Forum mods need to be on the ball to stop users from attacking others opinions. Remember this is a showcase and extension for your magazines. Would you put the items on the forums in the magazines? If not, then maybe they dont need to be here. |
Thread: My little engine (continued) |
13/11/2015 09:13:30 |
Garry, you will fit in fine at MEM as they build lots of engines there. I am sure you will get a good welcome as some of the contributors here are also there. That forum is where a lot of HMEM contributors went when the forum was sold off against their wishes. They let me in so i am sure you will get in |

Thread: Pop up ad on home page |
15/06/2015 21:22:48 |
Very bad idea this kind of pop up advertising. More so when many are already subscribers. Turn it off please... |

I was simply disappointed that such criticism was aired in public, in the ignorance that the 'team of professional people' is actually one person supported by some of a designer's time. I make no apology for raising the matter on this forum. Of course it is not the end of the world but it demonstrates the lax attitude that abounds today towards getting things right. It used to be called 'common courtesy'. Neil I dont think that is a very clever thing for a moderator or magazine editor to do . Mocking your readership like that. Shame on you. |
Thread: Perfectly ground Twist Drills every time. |
15/05/2014 21:04:21 |
On my drill sharpener, those two pozi screws (in your last picture) can be slackened off and then the guide can be moved up or down to get the cutting edge vertical. |
