Hi all I hope you are all having fun make your projects I am a from wigan I joined a supple of weeks back to ask for some help with a acme nut on a Mitchell lathe I perches in December and was offered help and advice straight away and Pete Rimmer offered to make one for me and did a first class job witch as been refitted to the lathe and as on play in it spot on. it's good to know there's still some gentlemen out their Frank Lyszkiewicz |

Fitted the new nut pete rimmer made for me and couldn't be happier it fitted like a glove absolutely no play in it first class work Thank you very much for your help and to all for their advice Regards Frank |

Hi thanks for the the help it's a 4 t.p.I for a 7/16th's rod I contacted A couple of places but some didn't do them and other would only Do them in bathes that would cost around £900 to a £1000 I've checked the rod and there's no visible ware on it the nut is very badly warn though

Hi Marc iv'e got a Mitchell there should be 12 gears in total one each of 30, 42, 44, 45, 46, 48, 57, 60, 63, 80 and two of 40, if you need a copy of the manual I can photocopy it for you regards frank |
