Ive also fitted a DRO & transwave phase converter as seen on photos

I would like to fit a collet chuck & appreciate any advise on what collet chuck would fit my machine as I have no luck in finding a factory fit model

I didn’t want to machine a backplate & fit a Chinese chuck if possible

any advice would be appreciated

I have included pictures of machine before & after

Thread: Acquiring a wedge type quick change toolpost
25/05/2017 14:49:23

Thanks for all your replys seems that I have looked at all the same sites

Arc Eurotrade is a reasonable price but it works out cheaper from the states as a package with 5 holders even with the import tax keeping a lookout at the moment

Any idea where you can purchase a wedge type quick change toolpost in uk other than purchasing from the states & paying import duties

Thread: Doncaster show

I also paid a visit to the show yesterday plenty of good tooling to browse

bought some lathe tools & some spare tips, looked on the Chester stand interested in their 626 turret mill but very

Impressed with the super lux mill the quality so much superior to the 626 & a much larger machine & comes with

a fitted DRO bigger table etc plus free delivery Tony also chucked in 150mm vice no brainer so ordered one, just got to break it to the wife think I will treat her to mars bar & a cup of tea to soften the blow that might be coming my way. Great day out though

Sad about warco not being at Doncaster, was keen on looking over their milling machines

Will have to look elsewhere now bad business idea by warco
