No idea why this website insists on rotating photo’s. Sorry about that. Perhaps one of the admins could rotate it for me? Edited By Mark Gould 1 on 29/08/2022 15:12:29 |

Ok to bring this to a close, I have found them on the Elesa-Ganter website and they cost €1,66 each 😄 |

I have found the thread guages and found that it seems to be M16x1.5. The original sight glasses come from a company called Elesa-Ganter who sell all sorts of hydraulic parts.

Thanks ega, I spoke to NT yesterday and have sent them the unit for repair. The fwd/rev switch broke. Apparently they have since switched to a newer, better switch that fails to fwd. My older switch fails to zero. thanks, Mark Edited By Mark Gould 1 on 02/08/2022 14:18:22 |

Gents, I was planning to change the oil in my FB-2 today but when I unscrewed the oil sight plug it broke I am now without machines as the Newton Tesla CL-750 on the Super 7 failed yesterday. Complete disaster! Does anyone happen to know what the thread is on the oil sight plug? I see that there are plenty for sale online and think they may be cheaper than the original from Emco. thanks and warm regards from the Netherlands

Thanks Michael! Mark |

Sorry just to be clear, I am looking for the .pdf that someone made which shows the dimensions of the felt wipers. If that is on the HWM website I cannot find it. Thanks, Mark |

Hello gents, I seem to remember someone posting the dimensions for the felt wipers for a Myford Super 7. I have purchased some felt and would like to try and cut my own. They are very expensive if bought from Myford. Thanks in advance, Mark |

Hi Nick, Thank you yes I have found plenty of these but I'm after a longer one around 12". Have found one in Ali this morning but I shall not be buying that, must be a steel one somewhere?! Regards Chris. Edge Technology sell one. Not cheap but a nice bit of kit. I’d lend you mine but shipping from NL to you would make it cheaper for you to buy one yourself Chris. https://www.machine-dro.co.uk/lathe-tailstock-to-headstock-alignment-gauge-bar-from-edge-technology Mark Edited By Mark Gould 1 on 11/10/2020 21:49:15 |
