health & safety will put a stop to that but I totally agree all for recycling why throw it away when it can be reused when will the powers to be come to their senses and live in the real world neighbour took a bag of rubble to the tip charged £2.50 they sell it on for foundations and such wonder why we have fly tipping make easy for use to recycle Geoff

the machine is 8 years old so hope it is a good one I think the guy on the video is hoping a lot to hold .001" on a diameter back in the late 70s early 80s the firm I worked for bought a cnc mill we wanted to mill two bores around 3" dia to hold +- .002 on a casting no problem using the plug gauges to check but using aclock to check concitricty it ran out at 12 3 6 and 9 occlock on change of direction of up to .005 using a 1" carbide cutter to get over this we used a 2" cutter on a small circle solved the problem also temp. comes into play on big bed mills with the coloum moving as the machine warms up our jig bores were in temp controlled room for this reason don't think I will have a problem making parts for my models just glad the machine is in and working Geoff |
