Drill chucks are available for most brands of angle grinder. One of the main uses I'v managed to find is drilling holes in logs to inoculate the log with mushrooms, as used in that form of mushroom farming.

Hello Celso,

Just out of interest, what was the thread at the back of the chuck machined to before you tapped it out 14 mm?

Brian

Thread: homemade anvil

Posted by lfoggy on 26/09/2018 20:16:08:

A great video, thanks. When you heated it to red heat then quenched with water, how hard does that make the metal? I am wondering what the optimal hardness on an anvil should be...

Thanks friend.

I do not know how to tell you the degree of hardness of the anvil, but it was hard enough not to scratch or sink. Nor was it too hard to break.
Sorry, my english is not very good.

Nicely done. THE T&CG, and the videos. Impressive stuff, well shot, well edited and (unusually for me), the music is well in synch with the visuals. Normally hate music on motorcycle or machining vids, but not here.

Thanks Brother. I enjoyd you liked... greetings from Brazil

Thank you, nice work, in particular the DIY slotted table.

Are you going to publish some drawings?

John

Thanks John. I did little drawing, and in a very rudimentary way, just to cut the pieces
