I was taught to make the threads on the stud (only on the end that is screwed into the part) oversize, so that you have in effect a slight interferance fit. Also 2nd the Counterbore or at the least a good CSK. |

Hi, I can't help with the dismantling, but the Grub screws are there to prevent the indexing plunger locating in an unwanted index position, you unscrew them from the indexing holes that you want to use (or maybe screw them in, depending on the unit). Nick |

Hi Mick, Try Goodrich hoses as listed here:- **LINK** The 600-02 has a 2mm bore and a 5mm dia over the outer braid. This does tend to be expensive, but is probably the best and I've used Goodrich on my motorcycles for years. Nick. |
