If someone from your network provider gave you this advice, I would immediately look for another supplier: - its absolute rubbish. (I used to work for a large company providing mobile phone service).

Where I live now, out in the sticks, as we drive along the road approaching our house, the signal comes and goes - its never very strong, but at times it disappears completely: if we are on the phone, we get cut off, but as we progress along the road, it restarts with no problems.

These companies have to be highly competitive to make a profit (look at the prices they pay for licenses), so if you have a poor service, go and find another - they'll be happy to have you.

Thats what I would like to do but have a contract 😂

What is the problem with people here not being able to write a simple word like EBAY. No problems with sites like Tracy tools or RDG or Arceurotrade etc etc. are most people ashamed that they actually go to EBAY and buy most of their kit. BTW you can still get Windows 10 as a free upgrade if your PC has a genuine copy of Windows 7 with a proper licence. Many video's on YouTube how to do it. I tried it on a Windows 7 home edition PC and it works fine. It now has a Windows 10 digital key and is properly activated.Also if you have a decent malware and anti virus software installed you will be OK on Windows 7. It is mostly operator error like opening unknown files and links that will get you a little malware gift.

When K J Cook left Swindon and went to Doncaster, he solved the problem of the inside Big End on the V2s, by converting to the Swindon design, and introducing optical alignment for vastly improved performance.

Probably few have ever seen a workshop powered by lineshafting!

I live near to Kingsbury, but would transport the engine pretty much anywhere. The boiler was never certified I know that much but it’s unlikely to be used, certainly not with members of the public.

Thats said I am willing to take any advice I can get.

there are many loco builders to be found there and maybe someone who can help if not try Tamworth ME link

Many thanks for all the input received. Its Rufforth on Sat so going to look for a tap. Not that i'm stuck for the 4 jaw. Would just be nice for it to done ready.

Steviegtr please bear in mind Rod's comment about TPI and also you can purchase the correct tap foe around £10 online
