got what i assume is a collet holder with my clarkson.

id matches dia of 5c collet on arc site.

but doesn't give length of holder is 3" would that be right for 5c collet?

all i have is short 3 core lead coming out of motor to plug.

i got it with drill press from factory that was closing down.

does anyone know how to wire up the dewhirst type forward/reverse switch that goes on southbend?

look on google images and can't find one with 3 connections each side only with 4.

have only got 3 wires coming out of motor

normally take my sanders outside to do my sanding.

but moving soon and will have space for dedicated space for grinding and sanding.

looking for recommendations for decent dust extractors pls.

be used on clarkson and belt sanders, not prob if i have to swap pipe over as will only be using one at a time.

That's what I thought and how we used to store them at my old place.

But looking at images on Google see some pictures where they are mounted on pegs on board.

how do people store their grinding wheels?

only got couple at moment so sit flat in drawer, but as get more use out of my clarkson can see no rising.

My mk 1 Clarkson came with the universal head and brackets with centres.

built my boy a tadpole from the atomic zombie plans.

one for me with underseat steering is on my list of to dos.

planning on second set of cogs halfway along run to large cog which is attached to small cog to get more power to back wheels.

also making shorter crank arms for mine.

hope link works never had luck putting pics up here, and kids are away so cant help.

now rewired and working lovely.

sorry another Q about my clarkson tool cutter/grinder.

a lot of i have read suggest a single point dresser for wheels.

got choice of .25, .5 or .75 carat.

which is best?

can only get one this month can get others if need them next month.

Clarkson sharpener I got hasn't got holders with it.

Will the 5c c type holder arc sell be ok to use for holding drill bits to sharpen?

Fair way of using it yet but thinking ahead.

got my clarkson grinder wired and running.

now need to learn how to use it.

oh and get some wheels for it ones with were unknown to me in sofar not sure how old etc so want new to be safe
