I only have the Wera 6004 Joker Self-Setting Spanner 4-Pieces Set bought on Amazon for A$249.00. It's ok but is now cheaper at A$180.00. Also bought the 19-24mm separately but it was a piece of junk so sent it back. I really think there is cheaper stuff of better quality out there. Will not be buying any more Wera. If you really want Wera then check Amazon as they quite often have discounts on Wera.

I am not sure if this is a legitimate website or not. https://twinnermodel-com.translate.goog/products/4006274240308?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp |

Re-posting this link as it has more info on the 24036 - https://www.naradiprofesional.cz/206109-proxxon-24036-sklicidlo-4-celist-pd-250-e

The three jaw 24028 fits the Toyo very well so I am assuming the 24030 should have the correct register and PCD as well. I did get a 24036 but yet to work out how to adapt that, but it should not be too difficult. If you find more than one 24030 available let me know as I would prefer that over the 24036. Thanks Nev. |

Good luck finding a 24030 Proxxon Chuck anywhere now. Even the 24028 three jaw seems to be unavailable now. Maybe with an adapter plate the 24036 can be made to fit. It's register is 40mm with I think a PCD of 34mm. |

Would anyone here have the bearing numbers for the Toyo ML-1?
Thanks Nev. |
Thread: Proxxon Chuck PCD |

Got the chuck today and very happy with it. Just so everyone knows the register depth is 5.8mm and mounting holes are 4mm. Nev. |

I've ordered the Proxxon chuck from Amazon. Plan is to make a back plate for it. |

If the PCD was 35mm I could probably make a disc 40mm x 22mm to press into the rear of the chuck. I do make things difficult for myself. |

Mounting register for the Proxxon Chuck is 40mm and PCD is 34mm. Toyo spindle is a register of 22mm and a PCD 0f 35mm. That's going to be a challenge. |

I've emailed a couple of places that stock this chuck about dimensions, such as PCD and diameter of mount holes. If the PCD is 35mm I would be very happy. |

Thanks Robyn.
Had seen the reviews and was a bit worried about quality. I did buy a Proxxon PD-230E 3 jaw for my Toyo ML-1 lathe recently and that is very good. Fits the Toyo perfectly. Left my run too late for a PD-230/E four jaw as they are now out of stock everywhere I have looked. Was hoping to adapt the PD-250E to the Toyo if I could. |

Chronos and Axminster do have the same chuck I linked to on Amazon, but both more expensive than the Amazon one. Axminster not in stock but available to order. Chronos looks like it's in stock. Will contact Chronos for more info on the chuck dimensions. |

Chronos are advertising them as in stock, as are Axminster. Might be worth a phone call or email? I am assuming from your description that the lathe in question is PD400. John
The chuck is for a PD230/E.

Can’t you just measure the pod? And as for the register it’s not the size that matters it’s the FIT! If I had something to measure I would have done that. I want to see if I can adapt this chuck to another machine, which is why I am asking. |
