At some point someone will inevitably notice that a whole raft of posts and photographs by the same author under three user names have, as far as is possible, been deleted from the website.

This was done at the request of the author and will inevitably leave many curious gaps in threads and postings across the website. It is rather sad as much of this information was valuable to fellow members of the forum.

The barrack-room lawyers will no doubt observe that our terms and conditions are such that we could have refused to remove this content. I would just like to say that, whatever our differences, we put the well being of current and past members of the forum first.

I'm locking this thread as this posting is just offered by way of explanation, not an invitation for discussion. If you want to comment, please send me a pm.
