300 forum posts | Purely for reference are there any "interesting tool stores" one could " happen to find en route by accident dear" In florida. Preferably near Orlando? Naturally I'm banned from going deliberately whilst on holiday but if one happened to be nearby whilst the family are in the pool........ All because on honey moon we spent 3 great days exploring american wood stores! SWMBO knows how to hold a grudge! Ian |

377 forum posts | Those US wood stores are places of Wonder to a wood starved Englishman. I Just hope that the Bugs get beaten soon. Not much wrong with Harbourfreight excepting that we don't have them in the UK. Like Machine Mart but much bigger range of everything and very low prices eg a set of 7 metric nut drivers for $7.00 and loads of tools that never make it over here. Your problem will be your weight allowance, SWMBO detection and trying not to say "I do not believe it" as you fill a trolley. Billy. |

They'll spam you unmercifully with those but will turn them off OK when you later unsubscribe. The only thing is that they seem to detect your IP and only send them to US subscribers so you may have to spoof the IP or subscribe when you get there.

300 forum posts | Thanks guys. Think I went to one past time - 20 years ago! and was very upset when they only had 20 router cutters in stock but huge compressors 20l to truck size(I kid you not!), cement mixers, huge saw benches etc but no damn router cutters. Then I found a copy of FINE WOOD WORKING MAGAZINE and ordered by UPS ( which turned into another saga but eventually I got the cutters!). Got to have something to look forward to haven't you!
