![]() 450 forum posts 127 photos | In having a day out today with LOML, daughter & SiL in a little village down south which has a few antique and old books stores I have come home with 2 books which I think some may find interesting both leather bound. 1 Model Mechanical Engineers 1964 Ernest A Steel .1964..........its full of detailed drawings as well as fold out plans. Doubt I'll ever get to make some of these but the book sure will come in handy. 2 A Text Book Of Steam & Steam Engines Prof Jamieson 1901 This is a text book but once again has some amazing detailed fold out drawings etc.
Sadly I had to leave behind a tiny Engineers little black book also leather bound 1896 you could still smell the oil soaked leather from many years of use from the fellow/s who had used it in their workshops.
