1 forum posts | Hello I'm new to this forum so please bear with me. I am trying to remove the bed piece from my gap bed lathe. I have taken out the three holding bolts but it will only lift 1/2 mm . Has anybody else had this problem. Help! |

![]() 1101 forum posts 3 photos | My Colchester Master 2500 virtually the same as your lathe has 5 screws holding the gap piece in place, there are three vertical short cap head screws, and two long horizontal c/h scews. you can use a standard allen key but a 3/8 drive ratchet handle with allen key "sockets " is easier. as there is not much space between the end of the gap piece and the headstock. |
