For every one who has been asking for a CNC magazine, the CNCzone have just started an on-line one.

However nothing to fear as it's mainly sponsered advertising for the big boys.

For those not in the know, there is alreday a hobby based CNC mag called Digital Machinist [ note the lack of hobby or model in the name - damn clever these yanks ] which is published by Village Press, the same people who publish Home Shop Machinist and Machinist Workshop, formerly Projects in Metal.

Well worth the sunbscription price.

I had a quick look at the CNCZone eMagazine; as John says basically advertising, and not even a particularly useful or easy-to-use example of same. I won't be bothering again; bit like CNCZone since they changed their website look 'n' feel, with the result that it now doesn't load properly for me.

I took a no-obligation copy of 'Digital Machinist' some years ago. It didn't seem to cover what interested me, so I didn't sign up to a subscription. There has been much muttering on this forum about a UK based CNC only magazine; I don't think I'd subscribe to that either.

Regards,

Andrew
