47 forum posts | Hello, I have been offered a set of castings (completely unstarted) for the Brunell Tandem Compound engine, has any member on here built this model.and was it worth the effort , any major problems and will it run on air OK.? Hope someone can help me. Regards David

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | Jo's is the double version of yours with two pairs of tandem cylinders side by side ( 4 cylinders total). The two models share a lot of the same parts so Jo's build and comments apply to your engine Yours is at the top of this page hers just below. Here is one half of Jo's which is basically what your engine will look like
