7 forum posts | Hi, I wondered if anyone knows the size and type of thread on the spindle end to take the lathe chuck backplate.The one on at the moment has been homemade and does not run very true.Any help greatly appreciated Thanks. |

![]() 54 forum posts | Can you not measure it? Usually a thread has a diameter and number of threads per inch [TPI] But possibly you would need to remove the existing pulley[?} backplate{?} to do this. |
