Problems with sealing valve chest to Cylinder

I have just about finished putting all together and have used a foot pump as Mr Hughes suggests, to try to check for leaks. I seem to have a direct leak to the exhaust !! I suspect problems where the valve chest fixes to the cylinder. Indeed the traditional Fairy Liquid solution test for leaks has bubbles coming from the bottom corner join between valve chest and cylinder. |
