426 forum posts 40 photos | I am currently modifing one of my 2.5cc tethered car engines, I am not happy with the alignment of the crankshaft bearings so a new steel front end is being made and fitted in place of the existing aluminium one. I am struggling to source new bearings with C3 clearance they are 10x22x6 and 10x19x5, any ideas have trawled the internet with no success. They need to be good quality as the engines revs around 37500rpm ones with ceramic balls would be better. Thanks

It's also worth contacting the customer service departments of the likes of SKF et al. They are used to enquiries for small numbers and technical help on what's available - that's what they are there for and one offs are where tomorrows mass production items come from. Keith |

![]() 3445 forum posts 62 photos | How about talking to Arc Euro. To quote their website "We have been supplying ball, roller, and needle roller bearings to trade and industry since 1986. Here is a small selection of sizes we carry in stock. In addition to these, if you have any other bearing requirements for a project, or for replacement, please give us a call." regards Martin |
