4 WHL BOGIE CENTRE PIN

Designed the above for 5" gauge but have just seen a drawing where the pin is radiused on the diameter where it fits into the slide block, i do not see how this works as the slide block is up against one of the main frame stretchers or have I just got a blind spot ? Hope someone can help.

No need to reply just realised the barrel pin is for a pony type bogie where their is a leverage back to the pivot pin, on a four wheeled bogie the loads are equal either side of the pin.
