5 forum posts | Can anyone tell me if the notes for building this engine have appeared in Model Engineer ". I have drawings dated 1950 but it does not appear in that year ? I would be grateful if someone can identify the year (s ) this appeared .

But if you go to Reeves, they sell the notes (in what looks like book form - although I guess it could just be a photocopied set??) for about £8.....which seems a good deal: https://vault1.secured-url.com/reeves2000/shop_item_details.asp?id=2/248 Hope that helps. ![]() 517 forum posts 57 photos | Speedy did indeed appear in English Mechanics (1950). TEE Publishing sell the booklet (£7-95). If you decide to build one, don't use the oiginal LBSC valve gear which gives poor valve events. Don Ashton has a much improved version. John |
