2292 forum posts 159 photos | Hi Nobby, I just clamped a single point diamond dresser to the table and traversed it from side to side. This set up was just a lazy way to make grinding rest. I had the cross vice from my first attempts at milling on a drill press. (Not very successful.) The end mill grinding jig is Harold Hall's design from issue 170 of MEW The use of a cheap bench grinder is also Harold Hall's idea from his book "Tool and cutter sharpening" I added a key way to his design to allow me to run the grinder in either direction without the wheel nut unscrewing. Regards Les. |
