after a break from machinng for a while because of 1 thing and another i thought it was about time i got the tools working again.
 
having got hooked on model stationary engines, i got in my collection of stock today and pulled out my set of casting for the RLE engine which i brought some time ago.
 
i had forgot until today that i have no drawings for this engine so can anyone help me with a set of drawings willing to buy, copies will do.

It was covered in ME but I only have the first part of the series, I'll dig it out to get you started.
 
Hope there are less errors than the Famous, just remade one part and had to alter another four, all good fun

Hi Jonathan,
 
I love the RLE engine - such a shame that castings are no longer available. I was given a set of RLE drawings a while ago, from which I have started fabricating the engine.
 
If you want to send me a message with your details, I would be happy to scan the drawings and send them to you. Will have to be done in sections, but should be good enough to work from.
 
PS - has anyone got any RLE castings that they would like to sell on??

well james i maybe able to help you as i brought 2 sets of castings for the RLE from a car boot sale!
 
i had inteded to build the 2 engines up as im also very keen on the engine but if somone else wanted a set then i would sell them.
 
if you come back to me we maybe able to do a deal.
