Can anyone help me find the write up for the Don Young Aspinal 0-6-0 tender loco in 5". searched everywhere with no luck. I think Curley may have done it!
And how does one make those tender brake hanges without going bonkers!

Many thanks

Hullo David,
I think Don described his Aspinall design in his own mag., "Locomotives Large And Small"

No, it's not in LLAS. I don't recall ever seeing a construction series for Aspinal.

Don was very fond of fabrications so perhaps that's how he intended the hangers to be made ?

Hi  & Thanks
I have acquired all of LLAS, via Ebay of course, and no mention of the 0-6-0, John, you are spot on.
I found a vague refernce to 'live Steamers'  somewhere  but the trail is dead. John (2) you are right, this lends itself to fabrication and I have a jig for the end bit but until I get a milling machine - URRRGGGHHH. I am just bloody awful at filing!!!
Thanks David
Lets see what someone else comes up with!
