Nice easy question, how heavy should a 30 hour clock weight be?

I am repairing a clock for a friend and it has a 10lb weight which seems far too heavy, I thought 30hrs were around 4-5lb?

An easy answer, it should be 8 to 9 lbs. depending on the condition of the movement, 4 to 5 is more like a regulator size.
