Hello all, I’ve had to replace the bushes on my wm180 motor as they were shot, I was doing some steady work on aluminium bar yesterday then tried drilling a hole and I think the 10amp fuse has blown well that is what I’m hoping, I wasn’t pushing the lathe hard and was using a sharp 6mm carbide drill bit with cutting oil, I’ve fitted a cooling fan to the back of the motor to permanently run so thinking the motor is terminal. Is there any better options of simple swapping of motors for me to consider to give a more robust platform without breaking the bank.
kind Rgds

Try the lightbulb test across the motor wiring first to confirm the control board is good.
