I have a Myford Super 7 with a quick change gearbox. The problem is that the threads being cut are finer that expected, e.g. A1 should cut 8tpi but I'm getting roughly 10tpi, B5 should cut 22tpi but I'm getting about 26tpi.

I'm assuming that one of the gears in the train is wrong. Does anyone have to hand the standard gear sizes. What I have is as below:

Any help gratefully received.

20 tooth gear should be 24 tooth.

Also Remember the gear you have marked "57" can be turned around, usually only when screw cutting.

Your picture shows gearbox in fine feed mode, hope this helps.
