I am looking to make some slave chucks for a myford big bore and i have found that its a 42.5mm x 2mm thread. I can cut a 2mm thread changing the gear to 34T and using 18 setting on the gearbox. My main question or anything else you could help with is what angle would i be best to use (55 or 60) and what angle for the compound.

Many Thanks

Andy

It's a metric profile so 60deg
