I saw this video and was just blown away by both the skill and technical expertise of the builder. He uses very basic tools and re-purposes PVC pipe for his building material. There were a number of things in this video that I just thought were very ingenious. I just wish I had the half patience and determination this guy has.

Funny this should come up. I used some gutter PVC for electrical brackets on the club 08 loco a couple of weeks ago. Flattened with an electric paint stripper. Available at low cost in several colours and thicknesses, mostly black, from a skip near you.

It just shows what dexterity, determination and great patience can achieve, and with the minimum of tools and the cheapest materials.
