143 forum posts 39 photos | Hi folks. I'm helping with a workshop clearance of a chap whos sadly died. I've come across this die filer under a bench, but I'm at somewhat of a loss in that know nothing about them, aside from the basics of use. The belt cover casting has New Wonder embossed on it, but I haven't as yet found any reference to such a manufacturer. Can anyone kindly give me a clue what it might be worth? Thanks, Jay. *More pictures available in my albums...

![]() 6956 forum posts 229 photos | This basic design was copied by lots of makers. The generic version is also referred to as the 'butterfly' filer in the USA,. The drawback is that files for them are no longer made though several previous threads on the subject will suggest alternatives and the inevitable person who got 500 files for tuppence happeny last week. I guess value around £150. |
