Hello, I have just joined the forum. Have spent the past 20 years in model railways and still have an O gauge exhibition layout. Two years ago I was inspired to try building a small live steam engine and a friend of mine (who is building a 4” Garrett T/E) gave me plenty of help and advice. Having built 3 different but quite small engines in quick succession I had a moment of madness and decided I would like a live steam railway - I acquired a part built LBSC 3 1:2” ‘Bantam Cock’ and so the fun began!

Welcome to the party David, the Bantam Cock will keep you busy, and you have come to the right place for help. Best wishes Noel.

Welcome.

Not a steam man, but plenty of others on here are, so lots of advice there, just for the asking.
