Hardinge lathe repair/restoration

5 forum posts | I’m lucky to have two Hardinge lathes. A Hardinge turret lathe used every day. at work plus a HLV centre lathe. Both need some love and attention. The turret lathe was rebuilt 10 years ago by ZMT in Devon now retired I understand I had contact with someone in the midlands who bought some of the assets of ZMT but have been unable to have a conversation with them. Would very much like to restore these lathes to good working order. Money can change hands as expect to retire next year and would like to keep in retirement Any suggestions as who can help appreciated Richard. Position Sensors Ltd. 1033 forum posts 2 photos | Plenty of companies out there who specialise in machine tool rebuilding, looking at your website I would imagine you can afford to pay for a proper job as opposed to us model engineers who want just the basic stuff done such as a bed regrind and do the rest themselves so the world is your oyster, just Google machine tool rebuilders, and take your pick.. |
